The scabbard fits it well, but i beleive ti is alot older. Total length of the sword is 24-1/2 inches with a 20 inch blade, and 1-3/8 inches wide at the guard. The fish scale brass handle, and guard was cast to the steel blade. The scabbard is leather with a brass throught, and missing the point. The scabbard may have had a frog at one time. The tip of teh steel blade has been ground and the cutting edges are a little crude. E-mail me with any questions and thank you for looking.
