Japanese Tanto Vintage

Great original tanto, ww2 vet bring back looks like small bullet graze on scabbard, blade is celan see pic's ask questions before the question is asked, is the blade signed? I have been unable to pull handle off and i am afraid to do any damage to it, the small blade has a signature i believe but is light and i did the best in the photo of it.
