Antique Japanese SwordFrom a veterans estate. This is a japanese sword brought home from the war. I do not know antyhing about swords. I was told it is old. The blade is in good condition without damage or bends. The length of the sharp part of the blade is 26 inches. Tried to take good pictures. Best i cna do. I will list another also sword found in a box. Sold sa is. Shipping quote to us address. On oct-29-08 at 202833 pdt, seller added the following informationsorry can't supersize photos after the listing started so as requested i have postde some closer photos. I have also included a cloth piece with japanese writing that wsa found with the sword. Had no idea it was part of the sword but was told it is a surrender tag with original owners information. It will be included in this auction. This sword does have some scratches from gae and use. |
